Goodman Park, Slough by the India International Friendship Society, New Delhi.
The award was presented by the Minister of Information and
Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India.
This is in appreciation of the Bureau's extraordinary services to the Asian community settled world-wide."

Laj Marriage Bureau was formed in September 1979 out of necessity to provide matrimonial introductions to men
and women of Asian origin wishing to marry. During this span of time, it has functioned very successfully with
the objective before it and grown tremendously. It now has thousands of contacts throughout the world and can readily
provide compatible introductions to persons of both sex.
Though their aim is mainly to help provide people of Asian origin compatible matches, white persons as well have
